Spinning Wool

Learn to spin wool on a basic drop spindle we will make in class. Spinning doesn't take fancy or expensive tools. No one spins fine laceweight singles the first time, but that is where "art yarn" comes from. Cost: $20, Free for Teachers in ROE40.

Paint Pouring

Create your own one-of-a-kind designs in this one-shot workshop. Our instructor will give you step-by-step instruction and show you how to mix acrylic paint and a pouring medium to achieve a thin, flowing consistency while maintaining color, texture, and opacity in your finished pieces. Cost: $25.

Every other Wednesday, beginning February 28th,

Beginning February 28th, 2018, on every other Wednesday, Mr. Brian will be on hand to show you how turn scrap bits of paper into brand new full sheets of handmade paper, which you can then use for all sorts of other craftsy projects.

We will start by showing you a basic 2-in-2 weave in copper, and will provide you with a clasp and enough copper to finish your bracelet at home if you run out of time. Did I mention there are literally thousands of chainmaille weaves out there?
