ROUTE 66 Blue Carpet Corridor Festival, Staunton IL

Celebrate with the City of Staunton at the First Annual Route 66 Blue Carpet Corridor Festival to be held Saturday June 13th, 2015. The full day event has the annual Shriners Wing Fest, moving its event to coincide with this first year festival. This event will be held at Duda Park, Saturday at 10:00am, one block off of Main Street.

The smell of wings cooking is just one of the highlights for this year's event. A Magic Show and kids games will be featured along with great music provided by the Goose Miller Band, Hashtag 80 and Kick to the Curb.

City wide yard sales will be held Friday and Saturday. Downtown businesses will be offering sales, specials and promotions for the event on both days as well.

So if you are part of the Route 66 Motor tour or just wanting to have some awesome wings, stop up and be part of the Festival. This event is sponsored by the City of Staunton, Staunton Chamber of Commerce, and the Elbon Shrine Club.
