Staunton's 1st Annual Balloon Glow

Staunton, IL - Fireman's Park
Staunton Chamber of Commerce and the City of Staunton Tourism are sponsoring Staunton's first ever Balloon Glow on September 10th, 2016 from 5 pm until 10 pm. This family-focused event will feature 3 - 6 hot air balloons, featuring live entertainment, food & beverages.
Kids' activities will feature a bounce house, a clown, face paintings and more until 9 pm, as well as the opportunity to view the beautiful hot air balloons in this quaint rural community setting.
The balloons are set up at sunset in the launch area and are inflated as if they are going to take off. But instead of being allowed to ascend, they are held down by the ground crew.
Since the event typically occurs in the dark, the balloons glow like huge light bulbs or Chinese lanterns, giving a spectacular display for the audience.
Want to be a Vendor for this event?
To participate as a vendor for this year's Balloon Glow, download the form and follow the instructions printed. The Staunton Balloon glow is weather permitting and entry fees are non-refundable. If a chamber member wants to have an information booth only at the balloon glow there is no charge for setting up a table. Businesses are responsible for their own tables, chairs, and tent. Set up is at 3:30pm all items must be set up by 5:00pm. Hours of event are 5:00pm - 10:30pm
